This notice covers the bupt.ai portal and its content links. Data handling varies between tools. When visiting a separate subdomain or third-party source, also consult that service’s privacy notice.
Display language and a functional cookie
On your first visit, Cloudflare country or region information selects Chinese or English. If it is unavailable, we use your browser language. After you switch manually, a first-party functional cookie, __Host-bupt_language, remembers your choice for one year. It contains no IP address and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Both versions also remain accessible through links with a lang parameter.
What this portal edition processes
The homepage tool search filters existing cards within your browser. Search terms are not sent to our APIs or saved in local storage. This homepage edition and the method and information pages under /reports/site/ do not load ad scripts or third-party fonts, or set advertising cookies.
Network providers still receive your IP address, browser information and request path to deliver pages and provide security. Cloudflare hosts this site and provides its network services, so a visit does involve some data processing. For infrastructure details, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy。
Page-view counts and visitor profiling
Connected public pages use an aggregate server-side page-view counter. The counter does not set tracking cookies or persist individual IP addresses, query strings or visitor identifiers to build profiles. The server creates request receipts to avoid counting retries twice. Totals represent eligible page views, not unique visitors. Private PaperPlan activity and the separate carbon site are not automatically included in the same scope.
Engineering inputs & private workspaces
Solving in ThermoForge sends the equation text to its solver API on this site. Do not paste passwords, personal identifiers or company models you are not authorized to share into public tools. CoolingPilot’s public page uses synthetic scenarios and stores page settings in the current browser. PaperPlan handles sign-in and authorization data within its separate workspace, using necessary session cookies. The homepage does not read, display or index private plans.
Google ads & third-party cookies
This portal edition retains an AdSense meta tag for site ownership verification. The tag itself does not load ads. Archived briefing or paper pages may still contain Google ad code, so this notice does not imply that the entire site is free of advertising cookies.
On pages with Google ads enabled, Google and third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. You can manage personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, and consult third-party advertising choices and Google’s advertising technology information。
Advertising vendors and consent choices depend on the actual ad configuration and consent interface. Applicable consent settings should be completed before ads are enabled in regions that require them. A custom ‘agree’ button must not be represented as a Google-certified CMP. This homepage edition has no such button, and we do not claim site-wide CMP configuration is complete.
