Research tools & content: terms of use
Public content and calculation tools are intended for learning, research analysis and preliminary engineering comparisons. Assess their suitability against original sources and actual operating conditions. A working webpage or converged solution does not constitute a formal design review, equipment safety certification or engineering acceptance.
Use calculation results responsibly
Check property ranges, pressure references, mass or molar bases, temperature differences versus absolute temperatures, composition and reference states. Appropriately authorized personnel must independently review results before equipment selection, production control, financial commitments or energy-saving commitments. Public pages do not authorize you to connect to or control third-party equipment.
Example model structures, data scales and boundaries may not cover your application. Ignoring an error does not make an unsupported function equivalent to a supported one. Updates may change tool behavior, so record source files, inputs and software versions when reproducing calculations.
Materials & permissions
Follow the applicable licenses for third-party papers, figures, data and code. A link from this site does not grant us sublicensing rights. Do not bypass private-workspace sign-in, attempt bulk password guessing, or submit others’ confidential material to public APIs.
Service scope & feedback
Tools may be maintained, changed or suspended. Beyond capabilities explicitly described and supported by evidence, no promise is made about field benefits, continuous availability or Google AdSense review outcomes. If you find an error, use Contact & corrections to document it, and stop using the affected results for critical decisions until they have been checked.
